In this article, we will be talking about one of the easiest to learn languages in the world- how to speak English as a second language! Who does not want to talk their own language? Almost every person in the world has at least some basic understanding of the language that they are born with, which is usually their mother tongue.
So why not improve upon your ability to understand and use the natively spoken language by investing in a good speaking practice book or course, practicing once per day for around 30 minutes depending on what format you choose to study, and repeating over and over again until you feel comfortable enough to put it into practice.
There are many great ways to begin studying a new language, so do not worry about choosing something too difficult at first. Some well known methods include listening to audiobooks, watching films and TV shows in the target language, reading books in the target language, and using Google Translate or similar apps to practise with.
However, no matter which method you pick, make sure to have a source of motivation! Starting off learning a new language can be quite daunting, especially if you are coming from a non-language background. Finding inspiration and motivation for lessons can be tricky at times, but hopefully you will find yours here!
Here we will go through one of the best beginner exercises for improving your speaking skills in English- an exercise called ‘F Alphabet song’.
