Having produced, co-written, and remixed the record “Giving It All” by the world’s Top 18 DJ Duo “NERVO,” Javier showcased his prowess as a skilled musician and producer. NERVO, composed of twin sisters who gained prominence for their co-writing work on David Guetta and Kelly Rowland’s Grammy Award-winning single, “When Love Takes Over,” have worked with numerous high-profile artists throughout their successful career.

“Giving It All,” released on October 7, 2022, under the renowned record label Thrive Music, earned significant recognition. The track was celebrated as one of the “Top 10 records by NERVO of All Time” by Cultr Magazine, a testament to Javier’s ability to craft exceptional music. The record received support from several influential editorial playlists on Spotify and Apple Music, including New Music Friday Dance, New Music Friday UK, Future Dance Hits, and New Music Daily, amplifying its reach and impact.

Jam Addict: Congratulations on winning the Best Soave Song of 2022 Award! How does it feel to be recognized for your work in the Tech House genre?

Javier: Thank you! Receiving this award is truly an honor. The House and Tech House genres are where my passion lies, and being recognized for my work in this particular genre is incredibly rewarding. It serves as a strong motivation for me to keep pushing boundaries and exploring new sounds within the dynamic world of electronic club music.

JA: Soave Records is known for its innovative approach to releasing and promoting music. How has working with Soave Records impacted your career as an artist?

J: Working with Soave Records has been one of the most rewarding experiences in my career. Their innovative approach to releasing and promoting music has provided me with a unique platform to share my tracks with a wider audience.

The reputation and dedicated following of the label on various music streaming platforms have allowed my music to be discovered by new listeners and industry professionals alike. This partnership has undeniably elevated my career and opened up valuable opportunities for growth and exposure.

JA: Your streaming and charting stats are impressive, with millions of streams and chart success on various platforms. What do you attribute this success to?

J: I believe there are several factors that have contributed to my success in streaming and charting. Firstly, it is crucial to create music that resonates with the audience. I strive to produce tracks that evoke emotions on the dancefloor and forge connections with listeners on both an individual and collective level.

Additionally, having a strong support network, including influential DJs and tastemakers, has been instrumental in exposing my music to a wider audience. Finding the right record labels for each release has been essential in effectively promoting my tracks.

Lastly, leveraging social media platforms and engaging with fans has played a significant role in spreading awareness about my music and message. I am grateful for the unwavering support of my friends and family, as their support has been crucial to my journey.

JA: Your collaboration with NERVO on the record “Giving It All” gained significant acclaim. How did this collaboration come about, and what was the experience like working with such a renowned duo?

J: It was an extraordinary experience! It all began when we connected – thanks to Uri Sabat, a well-known radio host in Spain. Since I’ve been listening to their music for over 10 years, there undoubtedly was a creative connection, and the overall process was surprisingly quick!

We brought a demo with Gaby, and they brought their unique perspective and expertise, resulting in a track that we all deeply cherished. Working alongside such talented and accomplished artists like NERVO was truly inspiring and pushed me to deliver my finest work.

JA: “Giving It All” was ranked as one of the “Top 10 records by NERVO of All Time” by Cultr Magazine. How did it feel to have your work recognized in such a prestigious list?

J: It was an exhilarating experience to see “Giving It All” acknowledged as one of NERVO’s all-time top records. Cultr Magazine, a reputable publication in the EDM industry, bestowed this recognition upon us, and it was a true honor.

This affirmation reinforced my belief that relentless effort and unwavering commitment can yield remarkable results. It has ignited a renewed motivation within me to pursue excellence in my future productions.

JA: What are your goals and aspirations as an artist moving forward?

J: Moving forward, my primary goal is to connect with my audience and continue evolving as an artist, pushing the boundaries of creativity. On one hand, we will focus more on live shows since my audience is currently spread across the globe. We will bring the records to the dancefloor and create live moments with the people who enjoy the music I release.

On the other hand, in terms of production, I want to explore new sonic territories within the House & Tech House genres and experiment with different elements to create unique and memorable tracks. Additionally, I aspire to collaborate with more talented artists across various genres to expand my musical horizons.

Ultimately, my aim is to leave a lasting impact on the electronic scene and connect with audiences around the world through my music.

JA: Any upcoming projects or releases that your fans can look forward to?

J: Yes, I’m extremely excited about my upcoming projects! I am currently working on collaborations with some amazing artists whom I greatly admire.

While I can’t reveal too much at this moment, I can assure you that we are creating fresh tunes that I am eagerly looking forward to sharing with everyone. We also recently released a new version of one of my childhood classics, Wiz Khalifa’s “Black & Yellow,” giving it a unique spin for the clubs.

The track was released via Glasgow Underground, which happens to be one of my favorite House labels. I highly recommend checking it out!
